This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
So theres a place in some universe at a certain location in some random dimension.
This place is called cloud world.
Things are pretty warped arround cloud world - it's very chaotic here. While everything you percieve is part of this universe, it is quite possible that you are only able to see snippets of the world. Once you spend enough time here, you realize that there is no difference between me, a self-aware existence and lets say, an oil barrel.
What I wan't to say is that this world is so complex I can't even explain it to myself yet. Subcosciously I know there is so much more there, but i am only able to draw so much. It actually frightens me a little because there seems to be all this cold empty space behind my forms, while on the other hand the world feels just as filled as your room for example: You chair, your table, a rug maybe, speakers, bed etc.
Above all though, what I feel is really absent from the drawings is the presence of human beings. There is no way for me to convey this feeling onto paper. Isn't it wierd? I don't mean placing a little weirdo somewhere in the frame, but to actually draw with the pen something that makes me feel the presence of "human" in the sketches.
At the same time I think the self-sufficient existence (as in no need for the human) of the machinery and simple organic landscapes is a very intriguing feature of this place. Even though this completely contradicts what I feel about the absence of humans, there is a strong feeling of joy and need for exploration in this world which should technically be completely wrong, I mean the human element is just so important in our lives or?
Why is it that this place, completely turned upside down and dead, is at the same time so alive, interesting and far reaching in the back of my head that I always want to revisit it?
can't believe nobody's welcomed you, so...welcome to DA, hope you enjoy it here
